The Center for the Study of Sexual Minorities in the Military is an official research unit of the University of California, Santa Barbara. Its mission is to promote the study of gays, lesbians, and other sexual minorities in the armed forces. The Liberty Education Forum is proud to offer financial support for this important program. Dr. Aaron Belkin's excellent leadership of this essential initiative provides the research and facts that eventually will help end the military's Don't Ask, Don't Tell policy.

Gay and Lesbian Service Members for Equality (GLSME)

The GLSME (Gay and Lesbian Service Members for Equality) is the voice of gay and lesbian service members around the world who are seeking change. GLSME was formed by 15 actively serving members of the United States armed forces. The organization's goal is to lift the ban on gays in the military and allow them to serve without fear or prejudice in the armed services.

Servicemembers Legal Defense Network (SLDN) is a national, non-profit legal services, watchdog and policy organization dedicated to ending discrimination against and harassment of military personnel affected by "Don't Ask, Don't Tell" and related forms of intolerance.

American Veterans for Equal Rights (AVER)

American Veterans for Equal Rights (AVER) is a grassroots organization of gay and lesbian veterans. They courageously protected our freedom while serving in the United States armed forces. Now, they are working to change the military's Don't Ask, Don't Tell policy.
