The Interfaith Alliance Foundation and Americans United for Separation of Church and State are helping to lead one of the largest public awareness effort of its kind aimed at protecting the basic First Amendment guarantee – “Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion or prohibiting the free exercise thereof...”

Since launching First Freedom First in 2006, over 100,000 people dedicated to protecting religious freedom have signed a petition highlighting the dangers posed by religious coercion in public life. This dramatic public statement supportive of strengthening the nation’s First Freedom will be presented to political leaders throughout the nation to encourage their renewed commitment to this freedom in our society and its protection by every branch of our government. The Liberty Education Forum signed onto this position.
